Wing Lee Development Construction Holdings Limited (“Wing Lee” or the “Group”, stock code: 9639.HK) is pleased to announce that the Group has appointed CCX Green Finance International Limited (“CCXGFI”) as an independent third-party institution to compile its upcoming Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Report. The appointment aims to further strengthen the Group’s corporate governance. Wing Lee will continue to increase its investment in ESG initiatives, leveraging its advantages in its new energy business to promote green construction projects and contribute to Hong Kong’s carbon neutral goals.
CCXGFI is a third-party service agency under China Chengxin Group, specialized in green and sustainable finance-related businesses. Since 2016, the company has been deeply engaged in the green finance sector, and is one of the earliest third-party green finance service agencies in China. In June 2023, it became the first Chinese rating agency to obtain external reviewer qualification under the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s Green and Sustainable Finance Grant Scheme. Its services include: green bond and green loan assessment and certification, ESG report compilation, ESG rating and data services, and climate risk disclosure and consulting. With extensive experience in international standards and professional expertise, CCXGFI assists listed companies in enhancing ESG management and disclosure quality.
Wing Lee has been committed to elevating its ESG and corporate governance standards, fully integrating the concept of sustainable development into its 3 core business segments: civil engineering, electrical & mechanical engineering, and new energy business. The Group is actively developing solar PV projects, heavy-duty truck battery swap services, charging piles, and commercial & industrial energy storage solutions. It has also co-founded the “Zero-Carbon Smart Alliance” alongside industry leaders such as SANY Group and CATL, building a full-chain green solution covering “photovoltaics, energy storage, charging, battery swapping, and recycling”, and is committed to driving the low-carbon transformation of Hong Kong’s construction industry.
The appointment of CCXGFI marks another significant step by Wing Lee in strengthening corporate governance and sustainable development. The two parties have held discussions on cooperation and are exploring future collaboration opportunities in areas such as ESG rating, green finance, and governance optimization.

Wing Lee’s management stated that, “the Group has always upheld the philosophy of sustainable development and actively fulfilled its responsibilities in environmental protection and social accountability. Appoint CCXGFI to compile our ESG report is a key step in enhancing the Group’s transparency and governance standards. We look forward to continuously improving our ESG performance with the assistance of professional institutions, and aspire to become a pioneer in Hong Kong’s green construction, leading the industry towards a zero-carbon and smart future.”
